Former chip shop magnate, Angelo has made a welcome return to the club this season after a break of a couple of years where he has clearly worked on his fitness. One of the most skilful hookers you will ever see, Angelo has great pace and regularly scores spectacular tries! | |

Longton’s Disciplinary Advisor, Jez has had a long and distinguished career, terrorising front rows and anyone else he can get his hands on. Still young for a prop, Jez is perhaps the finest exponent of the dark arts of forward play this side of AJ Birse!! | |

Another prop with a considerable physical presence, Johnny Mooncheese has been the corner stone of the 2nd team pack for a few seasons. His strong scrummaging and jovial presence make him a valuable member of the team. | |

Bagga is something of a club legend having joined the club from somewhere down South many years ago. A mobile 2nd row or back row, Bagga is now thankfully an honorary Northerner although he has so far failed to pronounce the words "bath", "grass" and "class" correctly. | |

Oli is a young, rapidly improving 2nd row who joined the club as a junior and managed to escape, I mean, worked his way from Festers boys!! He clearly is a player of some potential and could be knocking on the door of the 1st team before too long. | |

Big Gaz has been a welcome addition to the 2nd row this season. A native North Easterner, Gaz's background is in rugby league. His physical presence makes a big difference to the team as a ball carrier and he dishes out the odd bosh tackle in a throw back to his days playing that other game!! | |

Mongy continues to go from strength to strength as a player and his career has been revived by the new adhesive spray now being used on players hands this year. If this product had been discovered 20 years ago Mongy may have been one of England’s finest players! Seriously, Mongy is one of the clubs great characters and keeps everyone relaxed and entertained. | |

All action flanker Norm is now back at the club after a spell out of the game (well he was playing for Stoke!). His dynamic running, fantastic support play and general energy make him one of the key players and he is seeking to win a record setting number of 2nd team player of the year awards this season!! | |
