Young Toni did extremely well during he first ever season last year and has now headed of to Leeds Uni to get a degree in drinking, play rugby and maybe become a Doctor!! Toni will be playing for Longton when she can get herself out of the pub!

Laura Brown is an old timer of Longton wrufc, pretty much plays anywhere we put her, but we feel she's at her best flanking, being small and mischievious she gets the ball out of the most difficult situations and goes!

fletch has played rugby for many years now, shes a top loosehead prop, and gives her all in both games and training.

she also holds the position of west midlands ladies squad manager, in which she is developing well and using her extensive knowledge within sports development and rugby together.

new to us this season, jo has fitted into the team like a badger into its den, shes a great laugh. shes a science teacher at a local secondary school, and abit crazy i think!!

but we love her to bits - her rugby is settling now and shes beginning to shine within the team!

gripper has played rugby now for 6 yrs - starting at newcastle then moving with the squad to longton!

loves every minute of her rugby, learning new things, meeting new people, and of course the social aspects of it all!!

currently helping out with the captaincy, on the pitch as our skipper 'whiplash' is still not back running about, wont be long though now im sure!!

ang aka belch, the oldest, but not so sure the wisest of the bunch.

ang has a rugby background like you wouldnt believe, i think shes played at every club going!! but now shes found her feet and settled with the badgers!

an excellent player, selected for west mids this year!

a massive influence on and off the field!

lisa, lisa,lisa - well what can you say about lisa?

a fun loving kinda girl {in a good way} always ready to get the girls on the town - usually in some form of fancy dress! 

and her rugby - well full committment all of the time, also playing at west midlands level in 2007/08 season.

 

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?   Rugby, facebooking, football, travelling, running, gym, watching most sports, going out for a boogie & making cakes 

What are your best rugby moments?  Wales vs NZ at the Millenium Stadium – Watching the All Blacks do the Haka & listening to the Welsh sing their national anthem

Captain of the group, keeping us all in line, curently not playing due to a very nasty break in our first game of the season, but never the less an excellent captain and player! 

A great person to be around, and a pleasure to play under

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time? Rugby, watching rugby, talking about rugby, drinking. 

What are your best and stupidist rugby moments?  Playing British police and winding myself with the ball whilst scoring!
