Due to the success of the Under 14s group last year, and the expanding number of Under 13s players in the squad, from January 2011 Longton Rugby formed a new Under 13s team which this year will be competing in a league as under 14's. All under 13 players will be eligible to play up into this team if they meet the playing up requirements we have in place.

 Coaching for these 13 and 14 year old boys takes place at Longton Rugby's superb new ground at Trentham Fields on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. until 8.30 p.m., and on Sunday mornings from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 noon.

Our approach towards training is to make sure it is fun, whilst promoting values such as confidence, respect, discipline, self-esteem and team-work.

Longton Rugby has achieved the RFU's Seal of Approvalaccreditation, and junior coaching is undertaken by suitably qualified, CRB checked personnel.

All of our junior players are given opportunities to train and play matches.  We are proud to be a Club that believes in fairness and equality.
