Under 16s

Our Under 16s play in a competitive local league as part of the under 17's team.  To view the latest results and tables for their league, click here.

Training is designed to be fun and informative, ensuring that all players build upon their knowledge of the basics of the game - building confidence, self-esteem and team-work.

 

Coaching for these 16 year old boys takes place at Longton Rugby's superb new ground at Trentham Fields on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. until 8.30 p.m., and on Sunday mornings from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 noon.

Longton Rugby has  achieved the RFU's Seal of Approval accreditation, and junior coaching is undertaken by suitably qualified, CRB checked personnel.

Longton Rugby is proud to be a Club that believes in fairness and equality, where all our Junior players are given opportunities to train and play matches.
