Under 17s

As part of the expansion of our Junior section, Longton Rugby is hoping to develop an Under 17s team during the 2009/10 season.

We currently have several players in the 16 to 17 age group who are benefiting from training together on a Wednesday evening from 7.00 p.m. until 9.00 p.m. and also on a Sunday morning from 10.15 a.m. until 12.00 p.m. 

Our qualified and CRB checked coaches - Tom Bebbington, Gareth Edwards and Dan Owen - would welcome any interested new players turning up to have a look during a training session. 

We hope that with the arrival of a few more Under 17s players we will be able to move onwards and upwards as the season progresses, arranging some matches. 

If you know anyone who might be interested in playing for Longton Rugby in one of our Junior Section teams, please ask them to come along to the Club on any training night Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 7pm, or give us a call on 01782 594016 for further information.
