Under 17s

Longton Rugby Under 17s had a great season playing as the Under 16s last season - tying for top spot in their League and picking up some great scalps against South Staffs opposition along the way.

This season, the leagues have been restructured bringing the Under 17s some new league fixtures against other teams including quality outfits such as Lichfield, Burton and Stafford. 

Pre-season is being well attended and the lads are looking forward to testing their mettle against some tough sides during 2011-12.

We have the best facilities in North Staffordshire/South Cheshire and our coaching philosophy is to make training and playing fun, and to give everyone a go - recognising the talents that all our individual squad members have.
