Coaches

At Longton Rugby, we take the approach towards coaching very seriously. All of our coaches are DBS checked and have been trained, and assessed, by the RFU. All of our coaches are working towards, or are qualified at, or above, the Old Level 1, or the New Level 2 RFU Rugby Coaching Award. Our coaches also attend appropriate RFU CPD courses on topics such as Safeguarding, and Scrummaging. In addition, we ensure that we have more than the prescribed amount of coaches with First Aid qualifications. Longton Rugby has achieved the RFU’s Mini and Youth Seal of Approval accreditation. If you have any questions about our Rugby Coaching set-up at Longton Rugby, or if you would like to enquire about joining our Coaching Team, please contact Zoe Adderley, our Club Coaching Co-ordinator, by e-mailing Zoe at this address: Club Coaching Co-Ordinator

For general information on our Coaching set-up please email Club Coaching Co-Ordinator. Alternatively, why not come down to Trentham Fields, home of Longton Rugby, on a match day and find out what you would like to know, whilst enjoying our hospitality.

Coaching with Longton Rugby

As a community club, we pride ourselves on our links with local schools, clubs and associations, and we are always willing to put on coaching sessions in the community. If you feel that your school or organisation might benefit from Longton Rugby carrying out a TAG Rugby, or Contact Rugby session for you, or if you would like to find out more about the qualifications and experience of the members of our Coaching Team, please email Club Coaching Co-Ordinator
