Quiz Night

Hi everyone. We are having a Quiz night at the club on Friday 2nd March. The objective this time is to raise £200 to purchase 4 CPR dummies, so that we can run our own CPR training sessions at the club. These sessions would be open to everyone, first aiders, coaches, team managers, PLOs, parents, players, etc. As CPR training benefits everyone at the club it would be nice to see teams from the senior side of the club We will be starting at 8.00pm and in addition to the quiz there will be a raffle and Irish bingo. Teams of up to six for the quiz would be ideal and the cost for entry will be £1 per person. You can also bring your own nibbles. In the past these nights have always been really enjoyable, don’t get too excited about the winnings or prizes though. It’s all very light hearted, the quiz is not too difficult, it’s just a fun night with the chance to raise some funds. Everybody is welcome, please bring friends along, hope to see you there. St Gregory’s at Tag Festival

St Gregory’s at Tag Festival

One of our junior parents Kerry Walley has started coaching tag at her school St Gregory’s Catholic Academy in Longton. Her son and daughter Joel and Roxie have both been with our junior section for some time and husband Chris also coaches one of our teams. To support Kerry in what she is doing we have helped out  with some old kit which her tag group wore very proudly for the first time at a schools tag festival at Trentham Rugby Club this week. By her hard work and initiative not only has Kerry encouraged kids into playing rugby but she has recruited new players into our  junior section. This is the kind of work we are hoping to do with more schools to further grow what is already our very successful mini / junior section. Congratulations Kerry and many thanks from everyone at...
