Started brewing July 2005 with a 12 barrel brewplant previously at Otter Brewery. Most micro-breweries are begun by brewers going into business, but this one was started by three businessmen going into brewing:

Mike Smith of the wholesalers MWS, who provided the premises, Keith Bott of Titanic Brewery who provided the expertise and Matt Jackson of the pubco C2, who provided outlets. The brewer is Will Pammenter.
