Role Description
First Aider
Primary Function
- Provide first aid during incidents at games and training
Secondary Function
- To work with the age group coach, team manager, parent liaison officer and child safeguarding officer
Tasks
- Provide first aid where required
- Adhere to emergency procedures in cases of serious injury / accident
- Inform CSO when stock is missing or used from first aid kit based on first aid kit checklist
- Complete incident / accident reports where necessary in line with RFU regulations
- Promote the welfare of all club members in accordance with RFU and club policy
- Complete a first aid course as and when required to keep skills up to date
- Complete forms with CSO to obtain Data Barring Service clearance
