After being selected for the Leicester Tigers DPP (Developing Player Programme) at the start of last season, Cameron Adderley will begin training with the PDG (Player Development Group) next week.
This is the next step on the pathway towards joining the Tigers Academy. Cameron has been at Longton since he was 5 years old and now plays in our Under 15 team.
Cameron is being followed in this process by 2 of our U14s who joined the DPP this season and hopefully by some of our U13s who will be nominated for assessments in April.
At Longton we are not only growing the numbers of children playing rugby, but developing the players of the future.
